StudioGrip

The Visionary Origins and Evolution

The inception of StudioGrip was driven by a vision shared by Kresimir(Kresh) Juraga (opens in a new tab), a seasoned photographer and designer whose career spanned decades marked by artistic innovation, creativity, and ingenuity. Kresh’ journey with StudioGrip began with a growing frustration towards the photography industry's prevalent practice: the excessive waste and seemingly endless demand for complementary new equipment with each camera upgrade. This realization sparked the idea of a modular system that could be technologically adaptable.

Harnessing his extensive experience in crafting adaptable stage designs, Kresh began experimenting aluminum components which could be configured into any shape, while still being 100% sustainable. He tinkered with the connections and configurations with the aluminum component. Ultimately, creating a prototype that allowed for an array of setups from a single kit of parts.

Continuing from Kresh' initial experiments, he landed upon creating 4 grip variations along with a aluminum rod which formed a complete set of Studio Grip productions. Kresh then patented the design and Studio Grip was born.

As Kresh continued to work with the grips in his studio he realized the broader applications in engineering and design which Studio Grip offered. Kresh explored how his system could aid in building structures where temporary yet sturdy setups were needed, such as ziplines, tables, desks, sheds, rails, and many more. He came to realize the possibilities for Studio Grip was limitless and decided to venture out turning Studio Grip into a full fledged business.

The company was founded on the principles of sustainability, creativity, and adaptability—ready to serve a diverse market ranging from photography and filmmaking to furniture design and DIY craftsmen. Kresh’ vision a low waste and customizable solution is now born. We can’t wait to see what you create.
